The project builds on the evaluation experience of its members, traditional research impact metrics (bibliometrics, and scientometrics), and also \u2018alternative metrics\u2019 that can be used to forecast research impact. Altmetrics can base on information on development of different fields of science (emerging research fields, topics) and information on social networks. TAILOMETRICS is built on desk research (topic modeling, electronic databases), multi-actor workshops, surveys, and network analysis (research collaboration).
